Amelia started learning violin at the age of 5, and later earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University , and her Master of Arts in Music degree from the John J. Cali School of Music , Montclair State University. Amelia is active both as a professional violinist and violin teacher. Amelia started performing at weddings and special occasions around 2010 as a hired violinist for other entertainment businesses, mainly Sumar Entertainment. As a native NJ resident she performed at many of the most popular venues in NJ including The Manor, Pleasantdale Chateau, the Venetian, Valley Regency, the Madison Hotel, St Patrick's pro cathedral , and many others. After moving to the Hudson Valley in 2019 Amelia started performing at weddings and events with The Music Boutique and soon after that , she created her own wedding music business Amelia Muccia Violinist & String Ensembles.

 

Amelia continues to perform with The Music Boutique as well as her own business and she has performed at many of the Hudson valley's most popular venues such as Mohonk Mountain House , The Abbey Inn and Spa, Stagecoach Inn, FEAST at Round Hill, Mountainville Manor, Arrow Park, Emmerich Tree Farm, Pioneer Farm, Silvio's Villa, Aroma Osteria, Blooming Hill Farm, Rustic Ridge View Farm, and many others. Amelia Muccia Violinist & String Ensembles is currently on the preferred vendor list of several venues and planners, including  Settlers Hospitality, which owns several wedding venues in Hawley PA.

Amelia is a life long summer resident in the Adirondacks, so she is available for summer weddings in both the Hudson Valley and the Adirondacks, particularly Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake , and Schroon Lake areas.
